Where is your home? [Ceci Speaks!]

Where is your Home?

It’s been about a year since we made our decision to come out to Cape Town and join All Nations for this season of our lives.  It’s now almost down to the day that God started speaking to me about my home, and where to find it.  It seems so appropriate that this week here at CPx we’d be discussing the kingdom of God.

Last year in California God spoke to me that my home was in Him- wherever He is, wherever He’s called me to be – that’s where I can feel at peace.  As I worried about taking my children away from their family and friends, removing any stability in their lives, God comforted me with the insight that their home- their safety and stability- needed to be found in Him as well, and I would be the one to model that for them.  I had a hope that I could provide the safety of a home to my kids just by teaching them how to love and trust God.

When we returned to Texas last Fall to prepare to come to South Africa, I felt a little out of place, even though I was returning “home.”  I know our life was a bit chaotic and abnormal, but I sensed that I no longer belonged there.  Like a chapter had truly closed, and I wouldn’t be comfortable staying in Austin for this next phase of our life.

That’s when God reminded me of my new citizenship in His kingdom.  I am no longer identified as Hispanic or American.   I now enjoy the fruits of living and serving in His kingdom, one of which is that, wherever I go over the earth, I will always meet other sons and daughters in the kingdom… which helps me feel a little more at home.

He says to those who love and obey Him, He will come and make a home in them.  So through His Word and what He’s personally revealed to me, I can always trust that my home is most assuredly with Him, regardless of how I’m feeling.

I could not ask him directly and check his mobile phone more often, but what I http://topspyingapps.com/ wanted was to confirm the truth
