What are you living for? (very short blog with picture)

Yesterday, today and tomorrow people around the world will remember the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth.  His time on earth almost certainly affected the planet more than the life of any other single person, yet his life was only about 33 years long.

Back at the University of Texas, a man named Cliff Knechtle would come to campus yearly and ask the question: “What are you living for and what is the evidence that what you are living for is true?”  I think this is a great question we should regularly ask ourselves.  If we look at our lives, what are the things that really drive us?  If our friends and family were to answer that question for us, how would they be inclined to answer it?  Where do you spend your time, money, emotions and resources?  Is it on things that will immediately seem meaningless when you step into eternity or is it on things that will be already be echoing in eternity when you arrive?

What are you living for?

Will it matter in 100 years?
